Room 15 writing their weekend recounts - check how hard they are working...

WALT write a recount of my weekend.

Success Criteria
What happened?
When did it happen?
Where?
Who was involved?
Why?

The children in Room 15 enjoy writing about their weekend. It is great to see the children doing 'family activities' and Miss McCombie enjoys reading what you've all been up to.

Heads down, working hard on their recount of the weekend. 

We've been focusing on different ways we can be more independent as a learner.
For example using a dictionary for words that are not spelled correctly, thoroughly checking work again the success criteria, getting a partner to check over their work and giving feedback, being a punctuation detective.

 Eve working hard on her sentence structure making sure that she has capital letters and full stops in her writing.
 Ben, Micki and Hamish confidently writing their recount, remembering to check their work against the success criteria.
 Isaac, Zoe and Bradley working hard on their recount.
 Rory staying focused on his task.
 Riley, Shikyla and Josh all making sure their writing about their weekend.
 Aden, Ruby-May and Corban engaging in their writing.
